Join the World of Pink Team and Founder Christine Guarino as well as THE Grubfather, Salvatore DiBenedetto, at Chefs for a Cause!
Chefs for a Cause is an annual fundraising dinner hosted by the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition (BBCC)* to benefit the many outreach and educational programs the BBCC provides to Babylon Township residents.
The Grubfather is a popular food, travel and lifestyle blog on Twitter and Instagram. Its unique approach to social media creates memorable, long lasting impressions for restaurants, destinations, hotels and more - making it a great digital resource for men and women of all ages looking to broaden their tastes!
Christine and Sal will be judges for the event’s 20th anniversary year and will be tasting and reviewing foods from each restaurant. They will also be joined by a few breast cancer survivors! The winner will receive posting and publicity from the Grubfather at their restaurant!
This amazing event is happening on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 at The Piermont (formerly The Venetian Yacht Club) in Babylon Village. This is a milestone year for the BBCC… not only is it the 20th year of the Chefs dinner, it is also the BBCC's 25th Anniversary! Please help us to make this momentous evening a huge success!
Many local restaurants, bakeries, wine and beer distributors donate their time, food and products to help provide a special fundraising evening for guests. Your generosity and attendance helps to ensure the continued success of this event.
*The BBCC strives to raise breast and gynecological health awareness and support to those living with the stresses of such a diagnosis. In addition to our educational programs and support of research, our patient service program, Lend a Helping Hand offers a variety of services to those undergoing breast and gynecological cancer treatment. These services include transportation to and from treatment, much needed medical expenses, childcare, housecleaning, food and more.
